Reversed Phase Octadecyl Silanized Silica Gel. These reversed phase TLC plates have been manufacturer to be greater than 50% and less than 100% silanized. Because of this they are hydrophobic, but wettable (unlike CAT# 164077 & 165077 which are 100% silanized). Resolv-Rf™ Silica Hard Layer (HL) TLC Plates are made with standard grade Silica 60, which has a surface area of 500 m2/g, mean pore size of 60A, specific pore volume of 0.75 ml/g, and particle size of 5-17um. The TLC plates contain UV254 fluorescent indicator. This analytical hard layer is bound to a glass support. It has a thickness of 250um and dimensions of 20x20cm. There are 25 plates per pack. Resolv-Rf™ TLC Plates are suitable for all common separations. The layer has a hardness that is abrasion resistant and can be easily labeled with a lead pencil for clear identification. The dense coating yields narrow bands for a high separation efficiency. Applications include: drug synthesis compounds, identity of drugs, food and environmental samples, quality control testing of pharmaceuticals, etc. Made in the U.S.A.

250mL TLC Chromatography Sprayer. Sprayer provides a fine, uniform spray ideally adjusted for the development of chromatographic patterns. Spray pattern is adjustable by varying the coverage of the vent hole with the users thumb. Sprayer is used with low pressure air (5/PSI) or rubber pressure bulb. Sprayer consists of an atomizer top attached to the reservoir with a Rodaviss 24/40 joint. This design provides for a positive, grease-free seal between the atomizer and reservoir and eliminates the glass hooks used on other sprayers. Complete sprayer consists of the atomizer top, Erlenmeyer shaped reservoir, CG-182-03 open-top screw cap and CG-305-212, #212 Viton o-ring.
